Bsc (Hons) Sports Therapy, MSST.
Lacey is a fully qualified Sports Therapist and a member of The Society of Sports Therapists. She graduated from the University of Chichester in June 2005, with a first class BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports Therapy.
Since graduating, Lacey has worked with a gymnastics club providing treatment and injury rehabilitation during team training sessions, as well as working at Up and Running as a sports therapist where she has gained experience from working both in a clinical setting and with sports teams, delivering treatments and pitch side first aid. During this time, Lacey has also qualified as a Primary School teacher specialising in the teaching of Physical Education.
Having competed at elite International level for Great Britain in gymnastics herself, as a qualified gymnastics coach and being involved in school sport, Lacey understands the frustrations that injury can bring to sports people of all ages involved in all levels of sport. This is why Lacey believes that everyone should be entitled to a high level of treatment and care, regardless of their age or sporting ability, to allow them to return to activity as quickly as possible. Lacey also encourages treatment as early as possible after injury, as well as keeping active whilst injured to allow a quick recovery and return to sport.
Lacey is now working part time with Up and Running.
