Vikki graduated from the University of Chichester with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports Therapy in 2016. She is now a fully qualified Sports Therapist and a member of The Society of Sports Therapists.
Since graduating, Vikki has become a member of the Up and Running team both in the clinic and for several outreach programmes, including pitch side for Portsmouth Grammar School, St Johns College and Portsmouth University.
Vikki gained clinical experience by volunteering at Up and Running for the past 5 years, alongside her college and university education. She also spent time gaining experience in the pitch side environment, undertaking pre and post-match treatment and pitch side emergency aid for Portsmouth University and the RFU. Vikki volunteered for various other events run by outreach programmes that Up and Running are involved with, including Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club competitions.
Sport has always been a massive aspect of Vikki's life, weather it has been participating or spectating. From a very young age Vikki swam competitively for Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club and enjoyed dancing, running and various other sports. Due to this, Vikki can relate to the physical and psychological effects of injury and believes that individuals of all ages and abilities should be entitled to receive the appropriate treatment and rehabilitation to return them to full function and activity.
